We’ll unpack 4 specific words scholars have given God that will be reexamined from many angles. After genuinely grappling with these godly attributes, some will keep these conventional labels. Others have already shed them. Some will look at them a new for the first time. There are biblical and historical reasons for the labels we’ve given God, and what we think/ believe and say about God/ god/ gods/ G-d is always played out in how we live and move and have our being… Yes! Theology is practical! Perhaps you’ll add and subtract some new hops and barley as you include some of your own wild yeast in your own Brew Theology group...
Immutable = The belief that God doesn’t change.
Impassible = The belief that God doesn’t suffer or show emotion.
Omnipotent = The belief that God is all-powerful.
Omniscient = The belief that God is all-knowing.
